We are looking to hire an experienced Head of Marketing to build out Swantide’s marketing function.  Our growth to date has been entirely organic, driven by word-of-mouth and customer referrals. We’re looking to accelerate our growth efforts by building a strong brand and community amongst early-stage startups, our primary customer base.  We are re-defining how companies manage their GTM tech stacks and you'll be responsible for helping us shift our customers and community perspective to this new way of doing things. As Swantide’s first marketing hire, you’ll be empowered to own the build-out of our marketing efforts and partner with our Head of Growth and CEO to define and materialize our brand through marketing initiatives you devise.

The ideal candidate is:

  • Excited about joining a high-growth team, building out a marketing function from scratch, and developing a deep understanding of our product and customer base
  • A storyteller with an expertise in positioning and product marketing
  • A community builder who can help with category creation
  • A self-starter who is scrappy and comfortable working with limited resources

‍Role:‍

  • Help Swantide reframe how companies manage their GTM tech stack
  • Build and own the foundation of marketing at Swantide, including defining goals and strategy
  • Develop Swantide’s brand identity, voice, and messaging
  • Lead content marketing efforts across our blog, social media sites, and website
  • Promote our brand through community development, partnerships, and online events
  • Collaborate with sales to develop product marketing materials to support the sales process
  • Build out processes, workflows, and tooling for marketing, as well as hiring and managing other marketing team members

‍Recommended Qualifications:

  • 5 - 10 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally at a software company and with responsibilities across product and brand marketing

Nice to have

  • Experience working at an early-stage startup and/or selling products to other early-stage startups
  • Experience building a marketing function and managing a team
  • Experience working with Salesforce
